Milo was 390 +8 so thankfully vet had prozinc. Just picked it up and waiting for hour to give PM shot. On Vetsulin dose was 1 unit. Prozinc says 2 units. I thought that seemed high but experts should I do 1 or 2 units of ProZinc.

If he were mine, I would start with one unit, test regularly and if it's not enough, increase by .25 after 3 cycles or so. You can always increase if needed, but if you start with too much, you can't get it out!

Thanks. That was my gut and I shot 1 unit probably as you replied. Made sure he ate and his preshot was 336.
Will head to prozinc area later them do spreadsheet later

The nadir for ProZinc is usually between +5 to +7 hours post-shot. Test around then to see how he is responding. I find it tends towards the earlier time from, but each cat is different. He may need a few days to settle into the dose, so hang in.

BJM. ..I'm so glad I switched too. Tested at +2.5 and was 215. Will check again at +5 or +6.
