Hey everyone! The research I’ve done keeps returning these graphs for a “normal” curve for a cat. (Photo attached)

What are your thoughts ? Seems like the implication is a cat with controlled diabetes will still have a number near 300 at the start and end of the 12 hr cycles.

I believe this is a generalized curve for Prozinc. You see how it makes a "smiley face" with a gentle curve down then back up. It would appear the same if pre-shot was 200 and it dipped down to 100.

Lantus will look like a low, flat line, and Vetsulin will look like a steep check mark. Every cat is different though, and you'll find there aren't too many cats with perfect textbook graphs.

Okay! Gotcha. So really , as long as most readings are in between that 50-120/60-150(ish) range then that means the cat is getting the right amount / regulating, correct ?

Correct. :) If I remember right off the tip of my head, to be considered well-regulated, a cat will consistently be under 150. It can be a long time coming though. :blackeye:
