Noodle AMPS 320 Always seems to feel worse after dose raise

My boy Noodle always seems to feel worse for a day or two after his Lantus dose is increased, plus his AMPS seems to go up too. Has anyone else experienced this? So puzzled. Thanks.

My Mona never had a dose increase, but I've noticed a lot of people on the two Lantus boards mentioning this, both with increases and decreases. I assume it has to do with how the shed/depot needs to adjust after a dose change (which takes roughly 3 days to complete), and is why a dosing increase sooner than 3 days at absolute minimum is never recommended since they still essentially haven't properly gotten the new dose until after the shed adjusts. But, in any case, a rising PS number isn't really an issue, just a rising nadir, and that's not happening as far as I can see, so his numbers are actually good.

I hope he's also feeling a lot better soon, hopefully by the end of the day!

yes it does seem that way. overall the numbers are trending lower but then he pulls over 400 this morning. don't know where that came from.
