Liquid Poo...She is normal in every other way, until she goes to the "box". She diggs and diggs then digs some more. Has a small runny BM. then plays madly in her tube with her toys. Then eats then plays some more. WWT runny poo? Should I be worried?
This is the second day. No money for a Vet visit...Should I try that metamucil stuff or wait? Geez just when things were getting back to normal around here...

Any advice, experience...good poop vibes, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your reply. Forti Flora has been ordered. Just wondered if there was something I should do while waiting for it to get here. But thanks for the reply, it is most appreciated.

Plain yogurt perhaps? It has probiotics in it that might help firm things up a bit.

It's not bloody, right? Has she had any kind of change in diet? I used probiotics(acidophilis) a while ago when I was dealing with this from the canned food switch. They did help some. Good luck!

Sometimes when one of my crew is having "the trots" (and it's difficult to ascertain which one it is unless you do a lift the tail check). Anyhow, when runs start happening, I take away the food for 12 hours. Then I mix some plain white rice with a bit of poached chicken breast (ya, my cats are spoiled). That usually helps. Mags had a bout of bloody poo and I took him to the Vet and the Vet scolded me for giving Mags cream to sip...so, I stopped giving him cream and the event stopped happening. Sometimes if the cat is traumatized it will have the runs. I have never tried any medicine(s) for the cats when they have the runs.

I hope things clear up on your end.

Kindest regards.

Hope this find all well in the behind area, but if not, you might want to watch for dehydration. My civvie became dehydrated pretty quickly from this same issue.

Thank you everyone for your advice and well wishes. Zoe still has the runs but is fine otherwise. She just zipped in here and then back outside (yeah an innie outtie) Cant figure out why she seems to feel just fine but gets this way when I bring her in, in the evening. I'm going to remove her food and see if that works. Of course she will be screaming like I'm starving her...

thanks again everyone,
jeanne
