? Noah pre shoot 2.8 - dosage suggestion please

Hello

Noah this morning is 2.8… shall I jump the injection or give him a reduction? Today I cannot stay with him I have work . I know I didn’t take the last night bg numbers but I was away and the pet sitter was with him .
 
Can you get a test before you leave for work? He often nadirs at the end of the cycle so he might just head up from here.
Has he eaten?

he didn’t eat .. I’m waiting half an hour and take another test and see if he is leading up… I can take a +1 today not more … he gain a reduction ? Shall I give him 1.75? Or I skip?

He has not earned a reduction. You need to drop below 50 to earn a reduction. It would be good if you can hold the dose. Sometimes stalling can cause numbers to fall further. I would feed and shoot the full dose and test again before you leave. You can always feed high carb if needed then.

I test him after half an hour and he is still 2.8 …

I will give him 1.75 and test him in 1 hour
I feel to unsafe to give him the full dose 2 unit . but if tonight he went up too high I will go back to 2 unit

He tends to nadir at the end of a cycle, so you want to get comfortable with shooting lower preshots!

When posting on the lantus you would post like this
Date - Noah then - AMPS # then any other tests after that , you can continue with his PMPS # then

Ok dear
It’s true I need to get comfortable in shooting low numbers … is not always easy … Expecially when I’m not at home to check on him …
