I joined this group around 2005 when we adopted a stray someone had thrown out of a car. His ears were really road burned,so testing was nearly impossible. We named him Buddy, and he died last year. He did not die from diabetes, but cancer, and I credit this group for his quality and length of life. We now have another cat newly diagnosed. She is around 10 yrs. old. We live in upstate NY, and have a wonderful supportive Vet. I am looking forward to relearning some things.
