You can try putting it in an empty capsule
He is your kitty, not the vets. If you are not comfortable with the dose the vet wants, then don’t give it.I know they will say 1/2 is too small, but I will request it and ask lots of questions

@Bron and Sheba (GA)Hi - My boy is doing a little better. He is dealing with a lot. After many tests/sonogram, he has IBD, chronic pancreatitis, and stage 2 CKD. I am giving him probiotics (Fera, and fortiflora, and omega 3) and it seems to be helping a lot with the pancreatitis and IBD. If I can get that under control, and then focus on the diabetes/kidneys. From what I read, it looks like he will need a low carb/low phosphorus diet to balance the two. CKD used to be low protein, but I read that is old school, and also because he is fairly early stage, protein is not as much as an issue as the phosphorus levels. From what I see, there is a food Young Again ZERO Mature TruCarnivore 54/24 that might fit the bill. Is anyone familiar with this food/brand? I am so hesitant to try anything new, especially with his GI issues. Any feedback you can provide is so much appreciated. I just want to gather as much unbiased opinion that I can. Thank you all SO SO much.
