? Newbie 5/16/23: Food time limit pre-shot

Hi, all,
Ive lost the info somewhere but just to be sure I'm remembering correctly: How late is the limit for when they can eat before a shot (Gargling)? I thought I read no more then a couple hours? Because when I have to get up very early for work or am coming home from work, Celia still assumes it's immediately meal time like prior her diagnosis and often hounds me for food when her shot is still 2-3 hours away. Don't know how late to feed is still safe?

We suggest a 2 hour window where you don't feed before the preshot BG so that it is not food influenced.

Thanks much. Oh & what is the max. time window for feeding after testing/right before shooting again? Wasn't it an hour?

With glargine you test, feed then shoot one after the other. There is no need to wait at all after feeding with glargine.
