Snuggy's original owner's parents found him as a baby wandering around a big apartment complex. She took him in and cared for him. He lived with a small dog (and frequently took advantage of the dog's food). I will absolutely let her know that he is doing well and that he is very much loved. I will ask her if she wants pics/updates. She was very happy when I told her that he was adopted.
Pancreatitis can be common in diabetic kitties. Sometimes a cat gets it once and never again and some cats get it over and over.
