That is the food, and it's the insulin wearing off like it should be doing by now.
Here's what I would do.
Give him another snack and he can eat it now or later.
Get some sleep.
In the AM, test him when you get up, and feed him.
If you see a number over 200, you can give him .5u, if lower than 200, smile and skip the shot.
Test him about 3 hours after the shot and let us know what you get.
Start a new thread in the morning.
