I talked to Lori today (thanks so much for taking the time to chat with me), and rather than increase the dose, she convinced me to decrease it down to 1.25 and keep going down by .25 until we can make a true determination. One remark missing from my spreadsheet was the fact that I removed the vet's WD dry food from Alex's diet on 4/22. The next day, his #s were in the blues and I actually skipped the PM shot. So, we're thinking 2.0 units were too high.
Another thing I've thrown into the mix is this afternoon, prior to the PM shot, I did change to the ReliOn meter. It requires so much less blood from the poke and I'm hoping this will make Alex happier.
I'll keep the spreadsheet up-to-date and hope you can review and continue to give input. When more than 2 people give suggestions/recommendations, there's likely to be conflicting opinions. Since I can't increase and decrease at the same time  , I hope those advice I haven't followed won't take offense. Who knows, maybe I will have to increase again down the road!
I am glad you all are here for me and Alex.
