Thanks, yeah it was just almost too much to bear watching her on DCIN's facebook and no one stepping up for her. So when Jon asked if I wanted to keep Juliet as my birthday present I just had to ask if I could have Lulu instead. I didn't realize until the other day that she had gone 7 MONTHs without being treated! OMG that poor baby. Then not hearing back from her case worker right away I got so scared that something had happened to her while she was waiting for someone to give her a safe place to land. For now once she gets here I'm going to start her on Lantus since I still have 3 full pens from before I switched Musette. So might as well use that up first and see how she does on it, however, she won't be a TR kitty I can see no reason to turn her into a pin cushion while she is settling in. Didn't need to do that to Maxwell, not doing it to Musette and not gonna do it to Lulu. (still think that is a dumb name so will have to find her a better one)
I also now have the advantage of knowing how both Levemir and Lantus work so if the Lantus doesn't work for her I can switch her to Lev quicker than I did with Musette. Really hoping I can get her OTJ so she can have a nice long life without being stuck all the time, and she is the perfect age to fit in with most of the rest of the fur gang since they are all between 2-6 years old except Musette, Maxwell, & Onyx which are the 3 seniors. So she is going to have lots of playmates.
Now it is just waiting to here how her vet visit goes and finding out when she get to travel. Man, I feel like an expectant mom waitng for my baby to get here..lol.
