My cat is 7 years old about week ago he started to drink copious amounts of water and urinate much more than normal. Also he is not moving around the house like he normally does very lethargic and just not himself I have
Put everywhere so he can get at it and he is drinking it. He seems relatively disinterested in food but knows he needs it so eats a bit. He is still purring a stays with me all the time never wants to leave my side. But he looks very sad
I am looking for feedback does anyone know if this might be diabetes or kidney failure?

Hi and welcome!

It sounds like it could be diabetes. You should take him to the vet for an exam and they can run the tests needed. Out of curiosity, what food do you feed and had he had any other health issues before?

WELCOME TO FDMB we are glad you found us. There is obviously something wrong with your sweet kitteth. I do think he should be seen by a vet. If you dont already have a regular vet, I'd get on the phone and start interviewing right away(well asap Its still early here.) Ask the vet how experienced they are with diabetic cats. Try to find one close and best fits that description and make an appointment asap.
I'm going to link you with our first page for new members while waiting you can give it a read.
