Our cat Jazy was walking weird, drinking a lot of water, peeing a lot and her back was turning into a hump and I never had a cat do that before. So I took her to vet who
diagnosed her with diabetes. So vet prescribe her Lantus which the cost was out their. First office visit 350.00 and every three months after. The cost of meds Lantus 304.33 at CVS first time and office time left us how are we going to pay for this. For the last four days i have been reading everything on the Internet over and over.
So before i joined i read a conversations and i already requested the coupon that came up, which i received as text msg and have ordered Lantus from CVS but its still cost 222.12 as of 2/10/21
I have not been able to find any way to lower the price more.
I noticed that the Mark Marine Pharmacy in Canada was brought up in conversations. So again back to the Internet and found them. Read reviews and they were all positive.
I called and they were friendly and answered my questions. Price was much less 110.99 plus 25.00 shipping . Best price yet I just needed my doctor to call or send prescription via fax.
They would send package special delivery and make sure it is packed to keep it cold. It would take 3 to 5 days and need to be signed for. If not singed for it would go ground and take longer.
I am on hold waiting for pharmacy to call when they get prescription

Hi and welcome Cynthia and Jazy Sorry it took so long for a reply ,the next time you need Lantus I would suggest buying the pack
of 5 solorstar pens for 164.99 that's probably without shipping.
They will last you a year. I see you ordered the vial

You use the pen the same way you would use the vial.
Just put the syringe in the small gray rubber stopper and draw from there

The pens will probably have an expiration date of 2022 or 2023
You just store then in the fridge middle shelf and they will stay good until the expiration date.
If your vet didn't send the script over to Marks you could probably ask your vet
for the pens.

Sorry you paid that much for already.
Are you home testing yet or do you take your kitty to the vet to do that
We can help you if you want to home test.
It's really the only way to keep Jazy safe.
We also have a spreadsheet we all use to enter our kitty's BG so you can see how the insulin is working for Jazy.
If you ever need help with dosing ,we need to look at the spreadsheet in order to give you advice.

You couldn't have found a better place to join
We have many experienced members.
Just ask any questions you might have :cat:

Members here have been buying Lantus from Marks Marine for many years. I've never heard anything but good about them. The prices are good and, according to reports I've read here, their customer service is excellent.
