Hi, My name is Cindy and my cat who has recently been diagnosed in Feb of 2016 is Lucky. I found this board by posting on a Facebook page. The kind people I met there, directed me here. I have a few health questions, so I will head to the health board. Hope I'm following the instructions properly on this forum, lmk if I'm not. Thanks

Welcome Cindy and sorry to hear that your kitty has been diagnosed with diabetes. Feline diabetes is very treatable and there are a lot of caring and experienced members here who will help guide you along in your treatment program.

and give a bit more information....what insulin was prescribed and what dose...whether you are home testing (Very important)...and glucose readings you have so far etc you should gets lots of feedback there.

Yes, I've only been on here since Sunday and already have found more info than I have ever gotten from my vet. I feel my cat has a good chance now rather than considering having her put down.
