Hello All. I believe I have either an insulin resistant and/or Acro kitty on my hands (tests pending). Been navigating this journey since the beginning of January. A couple hospitalizations, a sassy pancreas, moments of good in between. Thank you for letting me join.

Welcome Gladys, you, are in the right place, in order for the experts to help your kitty is important you post all Vets exams, the insulin you are using, if you use an insulin pen or a monitor with lancets, how many times you dose, and how much; what type of food your are feeding how often, is important for a diabetic cat to eat wet food that have 0-8 % carbs, below is a link that have many brands and %'s of carbs recommended by a DR. as well as a link to create your spreadsheet; any vets data and your daily routine is important to get you the correct advice or answer your concerns, Are you home testing? Once the Forum experts have this information and you create a Spreadsheet for your Fur baby, it will be easier to help you on the doses, increase/decrease, I blindly trust this forum and the members, many experts in different areas, again Welcome. if you need more help just post again, for dosing, insulin and other medical concerns I am not an expert, but I can Tag other members to assist you:bighug::bighug::cat:

@GladysCat
Hi
For now
Here is a link helping us to help you link. If you noticed, our members have some basic information about their cat's in their signature. This helps us to not pester you by asking the same questions (your cat's name, insulin type, date of diagnosis, etc.) repeatedly. We also have a link to our spreadsheet in our signature. We are very numbers driven. The spreadsheet is a record of your cat's progress. By linking it in your signature, we can follow along and provide feedback should you need the help

If you need help setting up our spreadsheet just ask.
The link in blue will also tell you how to set it up and explains how to use it, it's very easy.
You can take a look at anyone's spreadsheet

Do you see my signature about Tyler below in gray letters

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Can you please tell us a bit about your kitty.
What insulin and dose are you giving?
When was your kitty diagnosed?
Are you hometesting the blood glucose?
