We are new to the FDMB after Bronte(13y/o, female, 12lbs) was diagnosed as diabetic after Fructosamine lab results were 532umol/L and glucose was 382. She had recently started drinking lots of water and frequent urination. She had also lost about 0.5lbs in the last 6 months. We received the call on 4/25/2024 and then found this message board. I consumed all the information I could from here and told the doctor we would like to try Lantus and would be using the Tight Regulation method and she was very supportive. I picked up the Lantus on Saturday afternoon and we have started our journey. I have filled out the spreadsheet and we have completed our first cycle. Thanks for all the information and making this new voyage not as overwhelming as it was just a few days ago.....will

I replied to your post on the Lantus board. Given that you set up your signature and spreadsheet, are feeding Bronte a low carb diet and seem to have home testing down, it's fine if you want to stick with posting on the Lantus board. It will make it more complicated for you if you are posting in two places. The Lantus board is quite busy and just like with Health, there are members around pretty much 24/7.
