New member - 3rd time more complicated health problems

Just stopping to say hello. I was a member here years ago but couldn't find my old account. I'm back with my third diabetic. Nigel is 11 and has controlled IBD and stage III kidney failure. Now diabetes too, likely due prolonged prednisolone for his IBD. I'll be reading through the posts to see if there's anything new I need to know. Already discovered that Weruva Paw Lickin Chicken is lower carb AND lower phosphorus for his kidneys. Thank you, community! Luckily chicken doesn't affect his IBD.
So a hat trick for me - my third diabetic cat. And a hat trick for Nigel - three big health issues.

Is he still on prednisolone? Have you tried budesonide for the IBD? It worked really well for Minnie and a lot of members here have their cats who have IBD and diabetes on it.

I'm not here to clog things up or give bad advice. Our Nigel was our first diabetic and the best patient anyone could hope for. I could just thump the table and he'd jump up for his tests and shots. He also loved the car and is my GA.
