I'm getting new lantus pens next week (yay to Mark's Pharmacy in Canada!!). The Lantus vial I've been using is from June. I'm wondering if I should short the dose I would normally give in case the Lantus I've been using is less potent, or should I stick with her normal dose with fresh insulin? Right now Lee is at 0.65u. I as going to shoot a skinny 0.5u at first.
OR am I being too paranoid?
