Hello;
I have found some of your posts online and have been intimidated to post. Even with over a year working with my diabetic cat, I feel I'm reading Greek here! :nailbiting: I realize that not all Veterinarian’s have in depth knowledge on how to treat a problem diabetic; however, when my Vet tells me to give a shot when I'm reading 63 on the glucose meter, it's time to get past my intimidation. I believe Morgan needs more than one Vet; he needs a village. So here I am. Please forgive my ignorance.
Morgan is my male 8 year old diabetic cat. He started on Lantus in May of 2015 and just switched to ProZinc on August 29, 2016.
He has never been regulated. I'm told he is a "healthy diabetic", but his numbers have been in the middle to high 300's all this time, lately, going into the high 400's after going as low as 63.
I have used my own spreadsheet and it will take me time to convert my numbers to your spreadsheet.
I'm desperate for guidance. His numbers are all over the place, going low then higher than ever. He is addicted to dry food; eating Young Again Zero Mature. I keep trying to get him to eat wet food, now he is slightly licking (not really eating) , Nutro Soft Chicken Loaf.
I will get on the ProZinc thread for details, but wanted to say hello and introduce myself and give a snapshot of my problem.
Thank you. I feel better just taking this first step. Thank you for being here.

Welcome! You have come to the right place for sure. I was like you - reading posts here but reluctant to join, etc. My cat was diagnosed in January of this year and my vet was much better than most in guiding me. Nevertheless, I felt that I really didn't have a clue about what was happening with my "problem diabetic". You said it well: he needs a village. Well, this is your village. See you over in the ProZinc forum ... :)
