New DX - terrified fur-mom

Okay I think I did it right..Here are the labs I thought they did another whole panel this past Saturday..kind of confused will have to look into that....but have fun and let me know your thoughts!!!

We use to have a neighbor that raised Kittens and pit bulls...yeah its what you think. Thats one of them in my avatar. He escaped and just parked himself on the couch. Being so small he'd find his way into this house and I would leave for work. I'd come home and there he was laying there like he lived here. I had to start going through the house calling WHERES WALDO? thats how he got his name.:p

Ok guys I got the labs ! I will upload them so you can take a look....Cookies labs showed she did have a UTI..poor kitty on top of everything else ...but the one I am most happy about is the proBNP...38!!! Last lab it was at 45...I am hoping that is a good thing....lower than 100 is good right? They treated her UTI with a Covenia injection which will also help the skin infection...something she has been battling with for years...can't seem to figure out what the allergy is...or why she breaks out in the itchy bumps...mainly in the lower part of her body...but it is everywhere....then there is the BG...it was at 104 yesterday afternoon before the vet....and 181 this morning before food at 6 am. Dr says continue on with the .75 unit twice daily.... She is eating really well...and even is back to peeing in her box and even made a poop...she is constipated so dr said miralax in her food which we have been doing for a while as she is prone to constipation. She had her second laser treatment today for her back and she is walking better...... waking up this morning to a bright face that walked onto the air mattress and snuggled with me was absolutely priceless. (I have been sleeping on an air mattress in our spare bedroom/office..the room where her carrier is) today dr said he thought she was in a downward spiral when he saw her earlier in the week but now its a whole new ballgame...sorry if this is rambling and bouncing around I am just really excited ...I really believe she is going to be okay. So nice to have her sleeping all stretched out in bed and not in the carrier...anyway I'll be back with the lab upload soon! Thank you all so much and I look forward to continuing sharing our progress and hopefully be able to help people like you all have helped me!

The labs look pretty good to me. Good kidneys. The wbc count wasn’t very high so it was probably just the beginning of the uti.

My niece said the same thing so I am happy. She's very constipated though and loaded with formed poops so I have to get her to go ....I'll be using the pumpkin with the meals again....already putting miralax in her food....she will not touch Laxatone...but if worse comes to worse we may have to stick it on the roof of her mouth drastic times right? Anyone else have any good ideas I would sure appreciate the input...she's been prone to constipation for at least 3 years.

Poor kitty. I’ve had cats get mildly constipated, but nothing a little pumpkin or Miralax for a few days couldn’t handle
 
So, question, now that I have all this good news...and Cookie is doing well....we cancelled our 10th anniversary mini vaca to our cabin..we were going to leave this past Monday....our anniversary is tomorrow..its a 3 hour drive and she's gone with us 4 times so far....she's pretty comfortable on the way up and in our trailer....she has never been distressed just not completely happy which I think is pretty normal..she's got a very comfy carrier that she is transported in that I am actually going to soundproof today ...do you think it would be safe to make the trip ..would any of you do it? We would leave tomorrow afternoon ..she has another laser treatment in the morning. I'd love to go but I won't go if it isn't safe for her.
 
Another good start to the day.....Cookie's BG was at 157 this morning before breakfast....she is walking so much better....right leg still has a limp and it looks like a neuropathy foot....the other a little weak too but not bad...hard to believe she was in such bad shape just a few days ago......she even scratched on her scratching post this morning!!! ...She's off now to get her 3rd laser treatment...and pretty sure an enema...she's pretty bound up....and that will for sure help her to feel better....I hope everybody is having a good day with their sugars today...and prayers to those who are having rough days...Oh I almost forgot ..I also got her some Fancy Feast pate wet food..not sure if I mentioned that...it seems easier for her to eat than the Glyco Balance and she seems to really like it....now we work on weight loss! Destination: Remission!

I think you're right....I'm still pretty anxious...although I know things are looking better....anxiety after this experience will take a little bit to subside I would imagine....maybe some cheesy fries may also help with the anxiety LOL:D
 
So..made it up to our camper...Cookie had a stress free trip up......Cookies BG was at 157 at 5:30 this morning ....202 at 12:30....145 at 4:30 and 93 at 6:30 she was fed at 5:30 a.m. 4:40 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. 1/2 can Fancy Feast each time...she's never been a big eater..never has finished a whole can....so what do you guys think of her numbers...I am testing her again at 7:15 on my nieces suggestion instead of giving her the .75 insulin I normally give her at 7 p.m. I'll update when I do that....
 
So Cookie was at 92 at 7 and is now at 83 I've not seen it that low ...I'm scared its going to go lower...she's been eating the wet food...which is a change...not sure what to do here...

Omg if she had no insulin and she's 83, drink that champagne and celebrate an amazing number. Lol. I in the other hand have to go test my cat who was hypo an hour ago. Lol. WHICH is why I'm still up.
 
Oh I am so sorry...its so terrifying..thank you so much for your help...so if she looks sleepy....she's just sleepy.....so should I test in the middle of the night..I can set my clock...if not and her numbers are still like this in the morning no insulin?
