New Dosage Started This Morning

Good Morning All.

I started a 1.75u on U-40 syringes this morning. At +3 1/2 Hank was 225 with his AMPS # 381. I will check his BG 2 more times before heading to church.

I'm concerned that I have to up his shot times with my schedule for the next couple of days. Hank usually is 6:30 AM & PM. Monday and Tuesday I have to be at work at 5am & 6am. I'm gradually moving his shot times up; AM today was 5:30am and I'll try 5:15 for PM tonight.

How do you think his numbers look? I think he was ready for a dose change. Thanks.

I think increasing is fine. He has nice nadirs, but they could be lower. Hope lower nadirs don't mean bigger bounces - time will tell.

Re the time changes. Just be sure he is rising, not falling when you shoot.

Hey Kimmie,Hanks SS really looking better!Nice to see him out of the red preshot numbers! How's the diarrhea going? When I changed food for my kitties,a couple of them got that and I was surprised that a product from petsmart( It's called essential pet from 21 st century) worked so well in a few days.It contains kaolin and pectin, I guess it is like our human formula of kao- Pectate.Very inexpensive too. Veterinary approved.Very genial on their bowels.Hope your 1.75 dose works well for him.

Thanks Joyce. :smile: I used some forti flora that I have for his diarrhea. Hanks better now.

I too think his nadir could be lower. I hope he doesn't get bouncy too.:YMSIGH:
