My cat has recently been diagnosed with diabetes (within the last week) I noticed tonight after her evening insulin that she has been vomiting and hasn't eaten, and i am wondering if I should be as concerned as I actually am. I do plan on mentioning it to her vet when he calls tomorrow.

    hi and welcome to fdmb

could you give us a little more info?

    what insulin are you using?
how much are you giving with each shot?
    what food are you feeding?
and how many hours has it been since the last shot?

does kitty seem normal other than the vomiting?

How much is she vomiting? Is it more than normal (when they sometimes toss a hairball or a little throw up once in a while)?

well since you aren't explaining how concerned you are.... :)

and it isn't clear how much the cat is vomiting, and if it was just the one meal or has it been longer then that.

So basically, yes, you should be concerned. Calling or going to the vet would not be unwise. and if you would like us to help you with more information, which we'd love to do, Cindy's questions will need to be addressed..
