i hear ya - i used to be on a message board that got all excited if you edited your post, as though that created a lot of work for someone. here you are encouraged to edit it. just a different way.
the basic idea is that the posts are shorter so that the people who give advice can find your essential information without wading through too much. we link our posts from day to day so that you can easily look back on someone's posts and get previous info if you need to. it makes sense - we have somewhere around 50 people posting on that forum every day and if everyone has 1 post they all stay on the front page so no one gets missed. the folks who have the most experience and are willing to give advice on the heavier duty stuff - i think try to look at most every cat every day. and of course, with everyone being a volunteer people still have "regular" life they are trying to do - jobs, families, etc.
i haven't looked at scooter's ss again yet, so i'll take a peek and see if the rest of the tests are showing up. thanks for explaining what's going on with it.
