Neptune is an Acro kitty. I have noticed that my cat's back legs are heavy when he walks. It started with one and now both seem that way. We have wood floors and when he walks he thuds. I've notice is spine seems to be hunched as well. He does not seem painful. As a matter of fact, when he knows I'm heading to the kitchen, he makes a mad dash across the house. Is this possibly neuropathy? He can feel it when I touch his feet an legs. I am just so scared because about two months ago he started showing signs that his jaw is slightly jutting out and teeth are spreading. I feel like this is progressing so quickly! Any thoughts?

Are you home testing and do you have a spreadsheet set up yet? I don’t see it linked in your signature. It would be helpful to see your testing data.
I am not home testing…yet. I can only list the numbers taken via blood draw at the vet. I can write the dates and BS. I still need to look through insulin dosages in my papers The office typically doesn’t document a change. I have to write it down. His last draw on 9/15 was 351 +6 hours post his morning meal and insulin of 9 units. She upped him to 10 units. His lowest BG was about 270. I’m still trying to figure out the spreadsheet ( I’m not very savvy with it) sorry I’m just feeling like I haven’t done my best for him

We can get @Bandit's Mom to help you set up the spreadsheet.

you’re doing your best and that’s all any of us can do. I would recommend you consider home testing. It’s the best way to keep him safe and get him regulated, which will help reverse the neuropathy. Minnie recovered almost completely from it. If you live near a Walmart, you can get all the supplies you need there or you can order online. It’s very affordable and we can help you with tips to make testing easier on both of you.
