I am looking for someone that can help me find a home for Boots (NW Missouri). He is my elderly parents 12.5yo cat. He is the littermate of my cat, Nervous Pervis, who was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year. Pervis is in remission, but Boots has a blood glucose level of 500+ and is not yet been treated for diabetes. He is now eating (Friskies) canned food, but he needs to be rehomed because my parents are not capable of caring for him and I live do not live close enough to help with the cat's care. He is a very sweet cat. Please feel free to contact me if you can help or maybe can point me to a place that might be able to help. I've just posted to the Diabetic Cats in Need FB page.

Boots is a cute little kitty :)
I wish him well with finding a perfect loving home that will help with his diabetes.

I wish I could take on another kitty but I'm at capacity now with my four. I would love to take him, he's just beautiful, and looks like such a sweetie, looks a lot like my civvie Vinnie (who is a total love), too.

He is beautiful. Very close looking to my Tux. Smokey was in the same situation, but really suffering at the time. Parents couldn't and didn't remember to treat him and half the time to feed him. When I got there, I just scooped Smokey up and bought him home with me.

Boots situation has hit me deeply because of Smokey's. I do hope if you can't take him, he finds a very good home.
