Needle sizes

I've used 31 gauge since we started doing insulin and today I switched to 30 gauge .. I'm right by saying that's a bigger needle right ? Because I could tell it bothered Smokey more than the 31 gauge .

Yes, 30 is slightly "thicker" than 31 gauge....the higher the number, the smaller the thickness
