Kitty first tested with 326 at diagnosis then was started with a 1 U AM/1 U PM regimen (Vetsulin).. was found to be holding (nadir) at 206 that following Monday (after weekend; was also taken completely off dry food).. then next Monday after was increased to 1.5 AM/1 PM as was ~243 at nadir.. Have since been able to test levels twice a day PS and seeing his reading this morning 327.. and yesterday morning was 291.. Since he was increased during the day to 1.5.. would doing that at night be helpful? readings are showing better in the daytime (at night PS tests).. was thinking doses should be equal every 12 hours for even levels.. (?) but idk how Vetsulin is w that. wondering also if its just too soon to determine this.. only been about 2 days (on 1.5/1). I just want him feeling better as soon as possible.. and it goes back up high again at night.. so far still not controlled. still trying to find dose. will also be consulting vet.. and will continue taking data next few days to see how it looks.. any suggestions appreciated.
