Needing Adoption

Hi all,

Just wanted to say hey and Happy New Year to all of you warriors and that we lost our Gabby in August. She fought the good fight and she passed in her sleep. We still miss her terribly.

Now, my neighbor has been adopted by a friendly stray cat (pics to come later) but due to circumstances can't return the favor. She called me for help and has decided to put her in the garage with food, water and bedding since it's in the teens at night. Anyone living in the Charlotte/Fort Mill/Rock Hill area interested in this sweet little New Year's present please let me know.

Thanks,
Donna & Gabby (GA)

Hi Donna,

Good luck helping your neighbor...but in the meanwhile I would urge you to get her to take the cat in to check for a microchip, post "Found" signs around, and maybe call all the local vets. This could truly be a stray (dumped cat) but could also be one that is lost and needs a little help finding his way home.

Best,
Pam & Layla

Ditto. Please get her scanned asap and while you are there, have her shaved to check for a spay scar. (I think you said this is a female.)

Make sure that whoever scans her does a VERY thorough job -going over the entire body - and to make sure that the scanning is done BOTH pependicular and parallel to the body length.

This last point is very important.
