Need Vet Recommendation for Portland, OR

Hi there:
The subject says it all. Does anyone know of a vet who is well-versed in feline diabetes and is good to work with (ie, not threatened by home testing or a pet owner who does her own research)?

What part of Portland do you live in? I went to VCA on SE 138th and Stark. Dr Jennifer Holmes. It's a 24 hr facility but their after hours visits aren't much more than a regular appt. For emergency I definately recommend over Dove Lewis. I had an emergency and went to VCA. Wanted to change vets anyway so stayed with VCA because in case of emergency they had his records. She was supportive of me testing. I never had to dose Billy though so not sure about treatment, but she was willing to listen, learn and work with me. Heartfelt on NE Broadway has good reviews on Nextdoor as does Irvington Vet clinic. Don't use Broadway Vet. The Portland Nextdoor sites are pretty active. It would be worth posting an inquiry on there.

My goodness the vcavet clinics are the best. I just came from the one in Vancouver WA. East Mill Plain ANIMAL Hospital Dr. He I call him is great and works well with his clients. 360 892 0032.They also have clinics in the Portland area. Good luck

the vet I use with Magellan is companion vet in johns landing he is trainable, loves cats and is best of all low cost!

We live in North Portland. I also posted on the FB page and got a recommendation from someone who lives down the street! Thank you!
