Need to recheck my math-splitting up flea meds

Okay it's been a while since I've done it this way, so need someone to recheck my memory (and math).

I'm getting ready to order Advantage for Large Dogs and will be splitting it up between the 12 cats and the drooler. If memory serves me correctly, for cats under 9lbs the dose is .4 ml and for over 9lbs is .9ml. Now if I'm calculating this correctly, that means if I pull off the needle on a U100 insulin syringe, .4ml=4u and .9ml=9u...correct?

0.4 ml is 40 U100 units, U100 insulin is 100 units per ml.
0.9 ml is 90 unita


Quick list for Advantage, for both cats and dogs:

Cats up to 9 pounds - 0.4ml
Cats 10+ pounds - 0.8ml
Dogs 11-20 pounds - 1.0ml
Dogs 21-55 pounds - 2.5ml
Dogs 55+ pounds - 4.0ml

I knew something didn't look right when looking at the dosing but for some reason the brain just wasn't converting ml to units this morning, so thought I would double check...glad I did.
