Hi Everyone,
About a month ago, I switched my cat Bo over to Friskies pate from M/D. Up until this week, things had been going really well: drinking and peeing back to normal and lowered BG. I this past weekend that he had been losing weight, which is a good thing. Mr. Bo is obese. However, I am worried that he is losing weight too quickly. He barely eats a quarter can of Friskies when I give it to him. He acts really hungry, but doesn't eat much before he stops. He takes hours to consume the food that I give him. (I consulted my vet and she said to initially give him 2 cans a day.) He rarely eats all of this. Another one of my cats eats the food that he leaves behind. I have tried Fancy Feast classic, but he doesn't seem keen on that either. Are there some other wet foods that you would recommend? I am taking him in to the vet tomorrow to check his bloodwork, to ensure there is not an underlying condition. Thanks!
