Need some help please

hi everyone. Were new here. I have Pumpkin who is 15 and has been diabetic for 9 years. He has heart disease, epilepsy, IBD and chronic pancreatitis.

I was told to join the messaging board by a friend, so please forgive me if I have the set up wrong.

I'm going to attach his spreadsheet. Lots of testing data with atleast 2 years of it. Ive tried increasing his dose, decreasing his dose and i just cant figure it out. Im frustrated.....please help us.

Could you put more information in your profile? What do you feed Pumpkin? You must be doing a great job if he's had all these problems for 9 years!

My kitty has several issues also. He's nearly 18 & has kidney disease ,high blood pressure & seizures for 2 yrs now. I give ghim a good quality CBD oil & he's only had 10 seizures in nearly 2 years.

Because it's a Holiday not as many people are available. I'm sure by tomorrow more people will respond. Hang in there! The advisors here are amazing. They can help you & Pumpkin!:)

Hello Amber, and welcome to you and sweet Pumpkin. As for the profile, here is a post telling you what sort of info we are looking for How You Can Help Us Help You. Make sure to read the yellow starred Sticky Notes on the top of this forum too, especially the one on Dosing Methods we use here.

Did you have specific questions or areas you like help? If Pumpkin has been diabetic 9 years, clearly you are doing a lot right already.
 
I will figure this out tomorrow when I get off of work.

But yes, he has been diabetic for 9 years! He was diagnosed when he was just 6 years old. Were not exactly sure of his history before the age of "3" when I adopted him. Hes been a strong little guy that keeps fighting along.

Dx with pancreatitis in 2010
Dx with diabetes 2011
Dx with stomatitis and removal of all teeth in 2017
Dx with HCM in 2018
Dx with epilepsy in 2019 (performed an MRI to rule out a brain tumor)
Dx with IBD 2020

Heska allergy test show he is allergic to beef, fish, venison, rabbit, duck, potato, carrots and peas.

We've had a rough couple months with finding a food that doesn't make him sick. So far we found a great combination of dry DM (1/8 cup) I know, high in carbs, and 1 flavor of FF (chopped grilled feast) that he can tolerate.
