I've had Teal'c on Lantus for a couple months but not with the vets blessings. He wanted Prozinc and would hear of nothing else I was even told cats don't do well on depot insulins.
Didn't like doing it this way. Have found a vet in town who uses NPH insulin but I have convinced him to let me try Lantus. I didn't tell him I had outsourced a couple pens. He does want me to use alphatrack2 meter which I agreed to use, I'll continue using my ReliOn and just hang onto the meter he gives me.
He said Lantus is expensive and I told him about Mark's in Canada. He asked me to find a fax number for Mark's and he will fax script for me. So does anyone know where I might find that info?
