The urine specific gravity of 1.010 is low, suggesting kidney problems. The urea (BUN) is also high suggesting kidney problems but that is affected by hydration and diet. However, the creatinine is only 1.3 (0.8 2.0). I would guess that the positive "Pus" in the urine is white blood cells. There is also some bacteria in the urine. Maybe a UTI?

I'm not an expert at all, but this makes me wonder about hyperthyroidism. Or maybe I'm just thinking zebras.

What's Miko's age? How's he acting, eating, drinking, litterbox habits?

On a side note, I've never seen cholesterol broken down into HDL and LDL in vet labs. How interesting. Wonder what they do with that info.

Dear member,
Miko is 12 year old male, eat every 2 to 3 hours. I give chicken breast in the morning to evening at night eat Evo Cat & Kitten Canned Food. He don't drink water at all even a bit . So every time eat i must add water into the bowl mix with food. The blood test result taken on 26 Oct 2010. Miko came back from vet, pee more & eat more. Miko is already remission for 54 days. My Vet Doctor took the blood thru his neck and cleaning his ears mite. When cleaning Miko ears, he is uncontrolled. Miko very scared. When he back home, we check his blood glucose, his mmol level is going high to 13.6mmol. But luckily, his mmol drop back to normal today.

3 Nov 2010 :
3.36pm - 7.6mmol
7.54pm - 7.5mmol

4 Nov 2010 :
8.35am - 4.7mmol
2.40pm - 5.3mmol

5 Nov 2010 :
8.45am - 5.8mmol

-Question-
1) Just wanna ask, is blood test taken thru the neck???

Thanks you.

Regards,
Theng
