Need Help: What kind of Sugars for Low Numbers?

Hello,

Oreo's numbers are 72 which is way lower than we need him to be, due to his cancer. ( I will explain in another note to follow). Are all kinds of sugars acceptable when getting the BG levels to rise?
I gave him high carb food and added a 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar. He loved it, by the way. I will keep testing him to make sure he is OK.

You can use corn syrup, maple syrup, or honey. If I was using table sugar, I'd mix it into water and add it to Oreo's food. You can even give ice cream (just not chocolate).

Hi Sienne,

Oreo's numbers are on the upswing! I gave him cat food and mixed in the table sugar. He loved it! At any rate, he is looking better. He was pretty restless when I thought I'd better test. Listen to your instincts! I will write my note tomorrow about our insightful doctor's appointment.
