My present cat is not diabetic but she is on prednisolone, taking it in her food four times a week. I think this may contributed to my other cat having developed diabetes. He passed away about 20 months ago.
I am wondering if anyone has information on Simply Nourish canned food, I am trying my cat Sable on other proteins as she has developed inflammatory bowel disease and is having problems with chicken, she tends to not eat turkey. She has been on Fancy Feast chicken classic. Won't eat beef, and seafood is only occasional as it causes stomach upset if given too close together.
I found some venison in Simply Nourish. Also have purchased duck. These are suppose to be high protein, low carbs. I am trying to keep her carbs down to help keep her weight down and in an effort to avoid another diabetic cat.
Any information you can give me would be appreciated.
