One really important item, is to get tests in both cycles, beyond the pre-shot test. The pre-shot test is only telling you that Milo's BG level is high enough to give him insulin in the first place.
Many people get at least 1 more test in each PM cycle. A regular "before bed time" test is a good one to get. Many cats drop lower at night, because they are more active and burning up more glucose for energy to fuel them in play or whatever. So another reason why some PM tests are important. Plus, our protocols use the nadir or low to base the dose changes on. Not much on your SS to make a good judgement call. The data is pretty thin, outside of the pre-shot tests.
You want to fill in the pieces of the puzzle, sprinkling the tests around at different times. Maybe one cycle, get a +6 or +7. A different cycle, get a +4 and a +10, to see what is happening earlier and later in the cycle.
The one day you did the curve, back on 5/30/20, Milo's BG levels stayed pretty flat. You have caught some lower blue numbers, but not many. You want to see him in the greens, <99 mg/dL.
Based on his curve, it doesn't look like the 3U is enough for Milo. If you decide to increase the dose, we only increase in 0.25U increments. Please monitor a bit more when you increase. To help keep Milo safe.
