This is the hardest decision you can make for a beloved pet, Jamie. It's also the kindest, most precious gift you can give them when they're suffering. My heart goes out to you. You did so much for Willy and now you're releasing him from pain and illness. :bighug:
 
My heart aches for you too, Jamie. You have given Willow a life filled with love and the very best of care - he could not have wished for a better Forever Person than you.

I'm so very sorry. I feel your pain. You won't feel like this now, but you are doing the best thing for your beautiful boy. He knows you love him, and always will.

((((((Jamie and Willow)))))) you're such a good and caring cat mum and you've taken so much trouble to do everything right for gorgeous Willow. My little civvie with heart problems had a massive seizure and never regained consciousness. I'm thinking of you, I think you and Willow have touched so many people's hearts in such a short space of time. If you'd like to add me on facebook and keep in touch, feel free.

Jamie, I am so sorry that it's Willow's time to go to the Bridge. You are a wonderful Mamabean to him, and now are giving him the hardest act of love ever. I am so, so sad for you, Jamie; you fought so hard to help your beloved Willow. My heart truly aches for you because it's so clear how very, very deeply you love him.

Reading this whole thread made me cry. I am heartbroken for you Jaime. I am so very sorry you lost your kitty. Sending you lots of :bighug::bighug::bighug: . Hang in there.
 
You did the very best that you could. I don't think anyone could have done more. What a great parent you were to Willow.

I just wanted to thank you all for the thoughts. I haven't been on here because I'm still really upset about all of this and have conflicting feelings about everything. I miss Willy so much

Jamie, I'm so sorry I didn't see this until now. I would've followed up regarding the feeding tube. Fred had an e tube in his neck for 5 days in Oct and it was really hard. We hate to see our babies in pain. Fred is doing better, though. I'm so sorry you lost your Willow ... You did everything you could and y'all were blessed to have each other! Our companies touch our hearts and the memories are irreplaceable!
