Hi everyone. Nbikay (pronounced like Enrique but with a b instead of an r- but we call him BK or Monkey most of the time) was diagnosed about a month ago. We just switched to Lantus on Monday after being unsuccessful on Vetsulin. I just got his spreadsheet started with his numbers since starting the Lantus. BK is 11 and we've had him since he was 6 weeks old. We have 3 other cats, Andre (litter mate to BK), Gnomey, and Sawyer. Just wanted to introduce myself to the group.

Welcome to the forum and great job on home testing and getting your spreadsheet up. Both are wonderful tools to keep BK safe and track his progress.

It would be useful to put a few things into your signature ( which you can reach by holding the mouse over your own name at the top of any page) If you put in that you are using the AT2 pet meter, date of diagnosis, date changed from Vetsulin, how long on Vetsulin, BK's age, any other health issues, area of the country you are in etc then people have a good background when giving advice.

where there tends to be a lot more traffic. Perhaps you can also include some information or even data about how BK was responding to the Vetsulin and how fast the doses were changed.
