Nature's Variety Raw Chicken recall

The last 5 or so bags I've opened have been grey and freezer burned, so I was going to return them anyway. Bummer. Must've sat on a truck too long or something.
 
Thanks so much for this information...I have been trying to get my Morris back on raw using this Natures Variety brand and I think I'll go back to Felines Pride. The batch I bought was also grey and looked freezer burned but since I have never bought it before I thought that was how it was supposed to be. Even though my batch was Use By 10/10/10, you have to wonder about the overall cleanliness of their facility to allow this to happen...I won't chance it.
 
You should be able to return it. When it's good, it looks light pink and doesn't smell. The freezer burned stuff is a little stinky and clearly grey and yucky. My retailer said it happens sometimes, and usually it's multiple bags b/c it will all have traveled together in a truck and thawed and refrozen or something.
