Natures Menu=lower BG

I have been feeding Cattro Natures Menu for about a week and noticed that her BG is MUCH lower: she is usually pretty high, late teens yet I had to skip a does and lower her dose - this is good news for my old girl. I found amobile pet place that delivers to certain London postcodes for only £2.95 and they stock NM: I called then this morning and added more to my order :-D

The only other food that seems to have a positive effect on her Bg is the Bozita pate, but she is off that at the moment.

Just wanted to share.

have you read the ingredients just to see what is or isn't in there. If it's giving you good results, then I'd venture to guess it's a good low carb product and if kitty likes it, all the better.

yeah!

I read everything, believe me! I decided to try this food as it is 70% meat and 0.04% sugar: it's hard getting Cattro to eat sometimes with the CRF so often I feed what she will eat. I have a store cupboard full of kitty food

I just hope she doesn't go off it now that I've done a bulk order .....

*******************************************************************************************************************************************My Simba was diagnosed 3 weeks ago and I've been looking for a wet food for him. Since diabetic I've been giving him Classic Fancy Feast, but he's such a picky eater and seems to be getting bored with it. I googled this Cattro Natures. It looks like the wet food comes in pouches, it said gluten free, wheat free but I couldn't see anywhere if it's low carb, high in protein..... I wonder if they make a dry also. Maybe I'll look into it.
