Mystery blood/ (treated- maybe?)

What do you do when you find mystery blood on the floor? Got home this afternoon and there were watery looking spots with red in them (looks like blood to me) on the floor in basement, our entry, a few drops on rug that were still wet, and a drop in the litter on top of where a cat had peed. But nothing in the upstairs (where all three cats were located and spend 90% of their time), or on the stairs, nothing around food or usual nap spots, and I wiped all three kitty bottoms and found nothing (they could have bathed). Going to vet tomorrow afternoon and they are doing a UA on Electra, but I tested her yesterday and her urine was clear then. All are acting normally, eating, drinking. Not sure if I should be looking for a homicide victim (mouse) or if it actually came from a cat- Electra most likely due to location and timing.

I think so too- I just got a urine sample and the multiple-test strip was positive for blood. I am bringing that sample and I might see about bringing her in earlier as a drop off. She is eating well, and acting normal at least.

They didn't give me any specific answers, but Electra had her appointment today, I brought in a fresh urine sample that was tested. She got an antibiotic, cerenia, and gabapentin for the next days to week (different number for each drug). She also got subQ fluids and a shot of cerenia while at the appointment. She was not happy with me, but hopefully in a couple days she will be feeling much better. This was her look at the appointment. I might have to lock my door tonight.

Just as a quick update; she has one more day of antibiotics, and I am supposed to bring a UA sample to the Vet office for testing after that. However, her bg numbers have leveled out again and I've done home test strips and all look good. Today she was even a little frisky and affectionate (or was until I had to give more meds). So maybe catching it immediately led to a quicker healing time. I hope the official vet tests will show the same.

I know this is a late reply, but if anyone else is reading this thread, this happened with my parents’ dogs a few weeks ago. My first instinct was to check the ears, nose, mouth, paws, and genital areas, and if I couldn’t find any blood there, I would take a slightly damp paper towel and gently wipe the pet down in different areas, checking the paper towel for blood smears or streaks, to try to figure out if the blood is coming from the body from a scratch or injury. It turned out to be coming from the dog’s mouth, she had chewed on something that had poked her gums, and then was playing with the other dog at the same time, and the blood got on the other dog’s fur.

Corky had the same issue last year in May, and it turned out to be a burst gland, that erupted next to his hinie, it had to be cleaned out he had two small holes, or it can be a UTI

And they tested her UA on Thursday after finishing her antibiotics that morning and said she was back to normal... and then today she had blood in her urine in the litterbox again and passed a clot. I sent photos with the test results to her regular vet, but of course this is the weekend and no one is open. Since she had no crystals in her vet UA tests, or bacteria from what they said, I am wondering about something like FIC. She is acting normally, social and eating. She doesn't seem to have a blockage so I am hoping we are okay with waiting until Monday when they vet will get the message and photos. (I don't know if the dog barking at her would be enough to cause stress- dog is very food aggressive with her new busy bone treats and chases the cats or prevents them from moving around the house freely.)
