My Sweety has earned her wings

After a short battle with CRF, I had to set her free this morning.We tried a lot of things to get her better but she responded to none of it, and I could not watch the downward spiral any longer.
As you can imagine, thru tears and sobs I write this, but
Thank you all for your help with our problems in the last 3 years, and thank you, in advance, to any replies...it may be a little while before I can open these swollen eyes and get back to you.

Fly Free, my little Sweetheart, you will be dearly missed. I will keep you in my heart forever.

((HUGS)) to you! Sometimes the greatest gift we can give means to take on the pain so our beautiful furbabies are free of it. Sweety flew away knowing how very much she was loved.

Be free, dear Sweety. Keep a chair warm in heaven for momma 'til you meet again.

So sorry to hear. I'm sure your beloved Sweety is now watching over you just as you watched over her for so many years. Blessed are those who were fortunate enough to be servants to our feline friends. Prayers for comfort during this tough time.

I'm so sorry for your loss .. as others have said, the greatest act of love we can show our babies is to take their pain when they can no longer fight it off .. Fly Free Sweety ...
 
I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Sweety, and how happy to read she was in such good and loving care. May your good memories soon outweigh the sad.

I know now...from personal experience, what a brave and selfless act you did for Sweety. You set her free. I only recently learned this particular form of pain and heartbreak. Please know you are not alone, others have experienced what you are going thru now and will go thru in the coming months.
Please remember the joy, security, love and tenderness you gave Sweety thru out her life and that you are the best mom any cat could ever hope to have.

Oh my gosh...what a shock. I mean I'm not here as much but Sweety? I'm SO very sorry. I know exacrly what you mean about watching that downward sprial. You did right by your girl, your baby, your Sweety.

I am so sorry for your loss, but the Bridge has added another beautiful angel.

Sweety will always be with you, but now you just have to hug her differently. She will always live on in your heart and memory.

I'm saddened to hear about your losing your cat. I am sure it's tough, tough, tough, but you certainly did a commendable thing to release her from suffering.
I hope in time only good memories of her will make you smile.
