My new "man" is here (this is brief for now)

Dante is home w/me now. He drank ALOT of water, and ate ~ 4oz of soupy canned food (1/2 DM 1/2 9Lives Chicken)

He's quite thin and his coat is dry & dull, but he'll get there ;-) He's quite a large cat, so it'll be interesting to see how much he ends up weighing down the road.

I've attached a couple of pics.

He's currently going back and forth between wanting to be petted, and growling/hissing/swatting at me. I will do my best to get a BG reading on him at some point in time tonite. Probably no insulin til tomorrow.

well, I did get a BG reading :thumbup (431) and he did get his 1st dose of Levemir (1u)
He's eating like a horse, but we know that's ok ;-)

I'll be posting over on the Levemir board and keeping his spreadsheet up to date.
