My 12 year old friend , Baby, who is a 3 year diabetic and being controlled on Lantus has been behaving differently this past week.
She, who was an indoor cat now, wants to be outside all the time and only comes in to relief herself and eat.
She does not sleep much and appears to be constipated and when she defecates her stool is very small pieces but not runny. Some of the time she goes outside her llitter box. My vet thinks that she has a urinary tract infection and has given me antibiotics and furball medicine to loosen her bowel movements.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
