My Heart Kitty Perry Is Gone 10-6-20 One Year Already

Diane :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: I understand so so much how you feel, I lost my 3yo so sweet kitty Peanut hit by a car in September....(had to share his picture..) I was devastated and still is! He was the end of the world for me!!! Some kitties are so very special....that when they go, house is empty and life is gone with them!
You had the chance to hold Perry in your arms till the end and he felt loved and secured; you gave him everything! Unfortunately the more we love, the more we suffer when we have to say goodbye! Time will do its work and Perry will always be there for you! :bighug:

Oh Layne I'm so sorry to learn of Peanut and Zoe's passing. My heart goes out yo you. What a beautiful kitty Peanut and Zoe was.
That CKD is such an damn awful disease

I just wish I could hold him one more time.

Diane, we are crying along with you. Perry was truly and deeply loved and you gave him wonderful care with his kidney disease for a long, long time.
Heart kitties leave a big hole behind when they leave. But you still have some great memories of him. I had to laugh at your story of him batting at your finger as you ran it on the shower curtain.

I know I did everything I could for him, fluids every day, binders, the Epogen
Injections, all kind of vitamins, now I miss doing that.
The other day I was out and said to myself I better hurry home have to give Perry his fluids.
When he would be in the bathtub if I didn't run my finger across the shower curtain
he would take his paw and move it to see why I had stopped.
It was so cute seeing that little face waiting, I wish I took a pic of that.
Now I'm left with Tyler Mr unsociable lol
I just texted him twice 10-9 because of a low AMPS are shot , the second time he
growled and hooked onto my arm and bit me. Every time I went to test give again he was ready to get me again.
I finally got it.
Man does he have some grip, he's one strong cat.
I said you keep this up and you'll be out the door next lol
I have a strange sense of humor, but you all know I don't mean it lol
He's like having no cat all all. Eats then goes off my himself, until he wants to be fed
again, then he's all head butts and kissing my arm.
Never comes in by me and Ashley like Perry did.
I guess he's just a weirdo lol

Today 10-6-21 it's one year anniversary since my poor Perry crossed the Rainbow Bridge
I just can't believe it's one year already.
I just look at his pics and just cry.
He was the sweetest kitty I have never had and was such a trooper .
I miss him so so much, I just wish I could hold and kiss him one more time.
I think about you every day my love.
Your brother Tyler sends his love and wants you to know he's still OTJ
There will never be another kitty to take your place
Sometimes I find my self saying to Tyler you're a good kid, but then I realize that is what I have always said to you!
I'll then say to Tyler , oops sorry Tyler that's what I always said to your brother
I'll then say to Tyler you're a good boy instead
Well I hope you are having a good old time with all the other precious kitties that have passed and you are all back to perfect health.
I love you my precious boy, please come and visit me soon.

My goodness, I can’t believe it’s been a year and what a year it was for all of us. Perry is watching over you and sending you headbutts and sweet kisses from a far. Keeping you in my heart today, Diane. ❤️

He had it for about 5 years
I did everything I could for him , he started sub fluids in June every day
Started Epogen in July
Started Aluminum Hydroxide Powder binder in July
Finally this Sunday he didn't eat that much
He wasn't his usual energetic self
Monday he started to go off on his own hiding, not like him
He was always by my side giving lots of head butts and kisses
This cat loved me like you wouldn't believe
Took him to my vet tonight for blood work which was already scheduled , I knew I was not going to get good news.
My vet came out with the results and his numbers sky rocketed
He was in kidney failure
So I went in and held him as he psssed, crying like a baby, crying now again
I love Tyler with all my heart but Perry was my heart kitty, so loving and sweet
I don't think Tyler will even notice his brother is gone
Tyler is a real loner.
Now I just can't get the picture out of my mind of him passing
I just loved him so so much
My poor precious Perry
I will never ever forget him
He used to jump in the bath tub and wait for me to run my finger along the outside of the shower curtain and he would bat my finger..
This went on for about 5 minutes
It was our little game
He would lead me to his cat napper so he could give me head
butts and kisses.
This is going to take me a long time for me to even
accept that he's gone.

Hello, Diane! I hope that on the one year anniversary of Perry’s death you will remember all of the things about him that you loved the most! I hope you will dwell on happy memories and smile. I find this hard to do at times, but I try.
 
Diane, you know how much I care about you and that is why this news is especially difficult. I am so terribly sorry for the loss of your precious kitty. He truly sounded like a special, loving cat. I know you did everything you could for him. Kidney disease is a suck a killer. I truly believe it is one of the worst diagnosis any pet lover could receive. I wish I had known how sick he was getting. Maybe I could have been a little more supportive of your situation than only talking about my own. He had many wonderful years with you and you will see your Kitty Perry again someday - God willing.

Aww thank you Summer, I know you would have been supported, you had joined the group after he had passed. He lived with kidney disease stage 2 for a very long time, so at least the had him for many years. He was 12 years old when I had to let him go. I love Tyler dearly but Perry was my heart.

Your Perry is “in good paws” at the Bridge with all of our beloved GAs. What a handsome kitty he was, and so brave. I know how much you miss your Heart Kitty. He will always be there in your heart in the special place that belongs only to him.
Mourning a loved one and remembering is something we all must go through and it takes time for us to ‘live into” our loss. Tyler has to grieve, too, in his own way. Your love for him and your understanding will help both him and you in this time of sorrow.

The year has just flown by. He was little tough kitty.
I'm sorry so sorry about Rusty and Stuff. What a beautiful kitty Rusty was.
I hope Perry , Rusty and Stu are together playing and healthy .

Aww thank you Courtney, I can't believe it's been a year already.
I think of him everyday. Mable is doing awesome on the OTJ Trial
Soon she can join Tyler at the Falls. Tyler is ready to party :p
He's been in remission since 1-24-21 knock on wood :cat:
That was very fast for Mable since her diagnosis to be headed for remission.
I'm so happy for you and her.
It took Tyler 2 years and 4 months to go into remission. I was lucky he did for after such a long time.

Just a reminder that Perry will always love you but he’s in a beautiful place now without any pain. He will always remember the wonderful life you gave him and how deeply you loved him.
