Have you heard of TCfeline premix? Not sure if it was previously suggested because there are so many replies. I have the premix that you add liver and whatever boneless meat you're using for the batch. It's simple to use, recipe is on the back of the package. You can buy mix with liver included or excluded. I bought it without liver because I felt it's better to add the raw liver (although its extremely disgusting grinding it up). Dr. Lisa's recipe is great but I don't have the equipment or confidence to start hers yet!!

Yes other people have suggested to me. It looks like great product that is very convenient to use, but it seems that it is not very convenient to get it from Hong Kong Yesterday I tried to make food according Dr. Lisa recipe, it is not that difficult (and maybe more affordable:)). I think the scariest part is to feed the cats bones, worrying that may be dangerous. Now I substitute bones with egg powder, it feels easy.

As long as you are getting the supplements right you should be fine.
The premixes are easier but I found them hard to get here in Australia as well. I can get some now but I prefer to feed the way I have been doing..

HI everyone!! I'm dizzy with reading...!! Bodie has kidney disease and diabetes. From what I'm reading here, the food made with EZComplete is the way to go to get him the low carb, low phosphorus, high protein he needs. I read all about kangaroo; we can't get that. SO I'm hoping to do just chicken, beef and pork. Also I saw this comment and am confused..do I need yet another B3 vitamin added to the EZComplete?
Quote from the other thread here:
"What we do is control phosphorus by using a specific form of vitamin B3, niacinamide"
Can someone PLEASE share a specific recipe I can follow that supports diabetes and kidney disease using the above proteins and EZComplete if you have one? I would SO SO much appreciate it

There is no "recipe" when using a pre-mix like EZComplete. For 2 lbs of raw meat, you mix 1/2 cup of EZComplete with 1.5 cups of cold water, add the meat (if it's ground meat you squich the meat and the solution together) and you're done. I freeze the mixture in ice cube trays and defrost portions as I need them.

I don't know what you're referring to about controlling phosporus by using niacinamide. Usually, the issue of the phosphorus content is based on the protein itself. This chart will give you a general idea of phosphorus levels. (The information is directed to humans, not cats.)

@Marje and Gracie has done a great deal of research on raw food diets.

You shouldn’t need any other recipe. Just get your meats (keep in mind that chicken is typically the most reactive if a cat is going to have any protein sensitivity issues), get the EZC, and make according to the instructions. As you can see from the nutritional analysis for EZC, the dry matter basis for phosphorus is under 1.00% which is pretty darn good and that includes the meat.

As an aside and as a separate issue, if Bodie’s hematocrit is trending towards 30%, you’ll want to supplement with methylcobalamin and a multiB complex which you can read about here.
