Ok i have wrote some post how i am changing my cats food and this will be her second day on low card food... I bought her fancy feast with all carbs under 5% and good high protein....
I received the meter today and tested her....
Well it was a little hard at first because my cat was wondering why i was touching her ear as much lol.. Then it got alittle hard when i tried it with the pen and nothing happened (not even at the highest number) .... i tried it three times and by that point my cat wanted out...
I finally just took off the pen cap and just went with the needle to the ear...
SUCCESS but my cat wasn't happy about it (neither was i because i ended up pricking my self as well)
BUT i did it...
Now the reading was 362 ( i know she could have had some stress from me annoying her ) but how bad is that?
I know its only been two days since her food was changed .. should i wait till Saturday? Give her about 4 days all together and see how it looks?
And by the way her new vet appt with a new doc is on the 15 =) Then we can get some insulin and start her home testing... that gives her about 5-6 days on the new food and hopefully it will be lower by the appt... (CROSSING FINGERS)
