MY FD/Acro cat made the local news!

My kitty Snuggles was diagnosed w/ Acromegaly. The first sign was severely insulin resistant diabetes. Unfortunately that wasn't mentioned in the news cast but at least it got the word out about Acromegaly. We're going through 2 bottles of Lantus a month at this point!! Anyways the local CBS news crew came out & did a story on him here:

Good luck with your baby. Can you do Care Credit to help cover the costs of sterotactic radiation treatment for him?

Wow! Great video. What a sweetheart. I never knew that acro cats have the same disease as Andre the Giant! Do all acro cats get really big? Wow - I learned a lot from your video. The news guy was really good with him.

Not all acro cats get huge- most show signs of enlargment & distortion but there are some who look normal size. It's a simple blood test sent to MSU that shows if acro is present idf there is any doubt. It's very underdiagnosed so I just want to promote awareness!
